Basic custom coupons begin at $45 for the initial setup and design. (Subsequent coupons based upon the initial coupon design may cost less.) You must provide the logo/artwork (or web address where your logo or artwork may be found) and a detailed description of what the coupon is offering, when the coupon is valid and any limitations to be placed upon the coupon above and beyond those listed in the rules.
For example of limitations, in the coupon above:
The offer is ONLY redeemable at check-in. (This means a person can only get one bag of ice per visit while they are checking in. If they check out and come back at some point in the future, they may get another bag of ice.)
Limit one bag per site per visit. (This means if there are four people staying in one site, one bag of ice will be available for the four people at the site.
If there is one person staying on the site, they get the one whole bag of ice all to themselves.)
The offer does NOT require the park to provide ice when ice is not available. (When would ice not be available? Say the ice machine is being cleaned, is broken and needs repairs, there is a broken a water main and the city has shut off othe water making it impossible to make ice, or a storm downed power lines cutting off electricity, etc...)
Coupon has no cash value and may be used in conjunction with site discounts. (Coupon can not be traded in for what a bag of ice would cost to purchase, and you are welcome to use the coupon for a free bag of ice and still be able to get whatever discounts on site rental that may be available to you.
Why offer a free bag of ice? It lets your customers know that ice is conveniently available for sale in the office and that they do not have to leave the property to find ice. Perhaps the park did not offer ice last year and people haven't taken notice of the sign in your window. Either way, it will hopefully dramatically increase the park's ice sales in the future.
■ Camper Coupons' Concept ■
The concept behind camper coupons is to give a tempting enough discount so that you can use your coupons to:
Of course, draw in and introduce new customers to your park who may not have otherwise found you or driven the extra distance to stay at your park.
Fill sites during times when they might otherwise have gone empty (giving a discounted rate is better than making no rate at all).
Get previous customers to come back in and meet new park owners after a property sale or management upheaval.
Show off any newly made rennovations and upgrades made to amenities that may not have been available the previous season.
Increase your web presence and increase your target customer's internet traffic to your website.
